Not being very computer literate, I wonder if someone out there can tell me how to save these wonderful video clips each week? (What to do and what keys to hit..that sort of thing...) I use Windows 98. I can be emailed directly at mfsjr@bellsouth.net
Thank you.....

view the variation in quicktime
go to the start menu and then go to find
files and folders Select local drives
in the named part put *.mov
they are usually named variation.mov
copy and paste it to where ever you want to save them

Is there a way to save the Real video files? I downloaded and tried Quicktime, but it knocked me off-line everytime I used it.

I save the variations this way:
1. For the Overview, Man's part and Lady's part pages, I use Internet Explorer since it will save complete pages along with the necessary image files so it will reload properly. To do this, load the page in IE, then select File/Save As and save as Web Page, complete, and assign an appropriate name (I use a separate folder for each new variation and name the pages as Overview, ManPart, and LadyPart.
2. For the Quicktime file, I use Netscape to enable saving the .mov file. Click on the Video and select the Quicktime version. This pops open the new Window to display the variation. Right mouse click in the window and View Source - this is to check on the URL for the .mov file. It is usually http://www.dancevideo.net/variation.mov
Copy this URL into the location window of Netscape and let Netscape reload the video in its normal window. Then select File/Save As and save the video as variation.mov in the same location as you saved the other pages from IE.
3. Finally, do a little editing of the links in the saved pages so the links between pages will point to your local copies, and the video link will point to your saved variation.mov
This then leaves you with a complete local copy of the variation for study at your leisure.

The only way I know to save RealVideo to your computer is to upgrade to the RealPlayer Plus.
