About pasodoble, we had checked out all discusion of Dancetalk and 24 variations in CDRom of your variation of the Week, but it is very poorly informed for this dance. May be, in the world dance, pasodoble is not popularized?.
We have a feeling, armstyle seem to be very specific charactreristic for this dance.
We would like some advice from armstyle of pasodoble and anyone know some rountine of this dance or where we can pick up some refferrence.

best way to learn more about PD is to take a near look at a "corrida" (bullfight). well known PD variations are all elements of the corrida. i.e. "Spins in PP" , Torero walk into the arena and swivel his Capa, "chase Capa" the fight against the bull, and finaly "press line" the final hit with the sword. modern routines uses more and more elements of Flamenco.

BTW, most dance look very poor and ugly in PD because they want to do somespecial hehe movement. PD is very easy ...use your phantasy to get into the role of the torero and move like he would move... very proud

It is only my opinion that Paso Doble should never had been included as an International Latin competition dance. All the competion dances, Am style or Int'l style, are danced in social setting except Paso Doble.

Having said that, I also like to point out that Paso Doble was danced in competitions perhaps more like a showdance where choreographic expression is mostly emphasized. I have observed many competition tapes and each pair of competitors had they own routine and looked totally different from the others. Therefore, you are not likely to find standardized varietions to suit your need. These varietions can only be used as optional or reference to your own routine, and use them to develope your own set of routine, so speak.

As for armstyle, take a bath towel use it as a cape. Standing in front of a large mirror, pretending you were a bullfighter, moving the towel whichever way you can as in bull fighting( you need to have prenty of imagination), the move that look great, keep it, the ones that doesn't, skip it. Just don't try this in front of the public. ;-p

If you are a lady, that will be totally another subject.
