Hello,
I'm new to your forum. I'm also new to the Salt Lake City area, and recently have decided to follow up on a dream of trying Partner Dancing, and want to take lessons, and find other people with like interests in my area. Can anyone give me pointers on where to start? Any comments would be appreciated.

Hi Katie,
Most of the studios in Salt Lake are in Sandy or Draper. There are a few downtown (like my old studio, Dancesport in Motion), and several in Provo (like the Dancesport Training Center). For fun, you might want to go to the Murray Arts Center on Friday or Saturday nights. It's really the only place in town that plays waltzes, foxtrots, etc.
I'm also the president of the ballroom team at the University of Utah. I would be more than happy to let you know about upcoming events there, too.
