8. Chasse Reverse Turn Fact Sheet
The Chassé Reverse Turn is the Quickstep version of the first 3 steps of the basic Waltz Reverse Turn. It is a simple left-turning figure consisting of 3 steps, where the man and lady close their feet on the third step. It is most typically followed by a slight variation of the Progressive Chassé that begins with man backing line of dance, turning 3/8 to left to end facing diagonal wall. But it can also be followed by a Reverse Pivot, Four Quick Run, or any figure that begins on man's right foot, backing line of dance.
